Do you charge for travel?

As a small business startup, I’m happy to offer complimentary travel for all makeup services! No extra fees for travel—just a smooth and convenient experience wherever you need me.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?

Please give at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling otherwise your deposit won’t be refunded.

What should I do before my appointment?

To ensure the best application, please come with a clean, moisturised face. If you have any specific skin concerns, let me know beforehand.

How far in advance should I book?

For weddings and special events, I recommend booking at least 4-6 weeks in advance. For other makeup services, booking at least 1-2 weeks ahead is ideal.

Terms & Conditions for Darcey Cooper Beauty

Cancellation & Deposit Policy

  • Non-Refundable Deposit: All booking fees (deposits) are non-refundable and non-transferable. By paying your deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
  • Deposit Requirements: A 50% non-refundable, non-transferable booking fee is required for all bookings to secure your appointment.

Services

  • Inclusions: All services include the application of a single set of false lashes and highlighting/contouring.
  • Trials: Trials are available between Monday and Sunday for an additional fee equivalent to a full glam makeup session.
  • Availability: All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.

Late Arrivals

  • Cancellation Policy for Late Arrivals: If you are not ready for your appointment 20 minutes or more past your scheduled time, the appointment will be canceled immediately. Payment will not be refunded.
  • Recommendation: Please be ready 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to ensure the full quoted time is available for professional application.

Photography Consent

  • Photo Use: Photos may be taken before and after your makeup application and may be used for promotional purposes on social media platforms and the company website.

Client Responsibilities

  • Informing the Artist: Clients must inform the makeup artist of any allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions that could impact the use of products or equipment. The artist cannot be held liable for any adverse reactions resulting from the client’s failure to disclose this information.

Refusal of Service

  • Conditions for Refusal: The makeup artist reserves the right to refuse service to clients or bridal party members who: Display infectious conditions or exhibit inappropriate, abusive, or threatening behavior.
  • Non-Refundable Fees: If service is refused, the booking fee will not be refunded, as it covers the loss of the appointment time.

Agreement

  • Acknowledgment: By paying the deposit to secure your booking, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.

Health and Safety

  • Unwell Clients: If you are unwell for any reason, including flu-like symptoms or conditions unrelated to COVID-19, you are required to inform us via email as soon as possible.
  • Flu Symptoms on Arrival: If you arrive at your appointment showing any flu symptoms, your appointment will be terminated immediately without compensation.
  • Positive COVID-19 Cases: Appointments will be canceled if the client has tested positive for COVID-19. Please notify us promptly.
  • Rescheduling for Health Reasons: Appointments affected by illness, including COVID-19, may be rescheduled, canceled, or compensated with store credit, at the discretion of the makeup artist. No refunds will be provided.

Time Slots

  • Securing Time Slots: Time slots cannot be held without a deposit.
  • No-Shows: If you do not show up for your appointment without prior notice of cancellation, you may be restricted from booking future appointments with me.
